Share your vaccination story or selfie using the hashtag #VaxUpWestchester, and we may feature you here and on our social media. Let's get our communities vaccinated!

What's your vaccination story? Share with us in words, in photos, in video why you value vaccination for yourself, your family and your community. Simply post your story wherever you are on social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) using hashtag #VaxUpWestchester. You can take a selfie with your vaccine sticker/immunization card, write your personal vaccine story, record your message on Zoom, have a friend film you with your phone; we're not looking for fancy production here just real, compelling testimonials from our communities about why it's so important we all take this next step toward normal. And make sure to sign off by encouraging everyone to "VaxUpWestchester"! Feel free to add additional hashtags representing where you live, i.e. #Greenburgh, #SleepyHollow, etc. We can't wait to hear from you.

#VaxUpWestchester's pop-up in partnership with Iglesias Memorial de San Andres church in Yonkers on Friday, May 28 was a huge success, vaccinating 28 local residents and creating a community dialog with countless more. News 12 was even there to capture the scene.

#VaxUpWestchester volunteers outside the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown at Christ Episcopal Church in Tarrytown on June 10, along with one of the several who got vaccinated at this VUW pop-up event. Our volunteers, along with Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps, educated and vaccinated another grateful group of local residents in need.
